By the lake, up a mountain or at the easel dreaming of road trips and tacos

ABOUT.

I LIVE IN LAKE COUNTRY

I've been with my guy for 16 years

AND NOW WE HAVE 2 KIDS!

My 1st art show was Artwalk 2010, in front of 7000 people.

It was terrifying.

From 2007 to 2012 I worked in Mechanical and Refrigeration Engineering, before that I designed houses.

*** I LOVE COFFEE, WINE AND CHOCOLATE ***

I've had a solo exhibition at the Gibsons Public Art Gallery & the Port Alberni Public Art Gallery.

WE HAVE A 1978 14' FIBREGLASS TRAILER

ONE summer we took a SEVEN week, 11,000km road trip through Washington, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, California and Oregon

When we got home we still liked each other...and the trailer

THERAPY WINES SELECTED 'OKANAGAN HILLS' TO BE ON THEIR ARTIST SERIES WINE LABEL.

we celebrated and had a big party.

My first car was a 1984 Pontiac Firebird. It was red, with T-tops. I lived in Vancouver and they leaked.

In 2018 I was selected with 11 other artists from BC & Alberta to tour the back country of Glacier National Park to capture and celebrate Canada's 150th Anniversary. I am so lucky as this is my 2nd time! In 2011 I went to the Mt Fidelity Research Station in Glacier with 5 other artists for Glacier's 125th Anniversary.

The largest painting I've done was a 8' x 8' mural for the Lake Country Art Gallery.

In 2006 Carl and I rode our pedal bikes from Vancouver to San Francisco, through Arizona and from Panama City to Costa Rica. Then we got tired of sitting on a bike seat, so we rented a house on a little Caribbean island off the coast of Belize and sat on a beach instead.

I grew up in beautiful North Vancouver.

MY ART HAS BEEN REPRESENTED BY 10 FABULOUS GALLERIES AND SHOPS.

I've sold over 300 original paintings since 2010

Growing up I was always intimidated by art and never took more than a High School Art Class. Now I teach.

My favourite plants to grow are tomatoes and basil.

I DO NOT LIKE THE COLD. WE LIVED IN GRANDE PRAIRIE ALBERTA FOR 2 YEARS, 2 MONTHS AND 8 DAYS. THE FIRST DAY I WAS THERE IT WAS -38, I GREW UP IN NORTH VANCOUVER & HAD NEVER BEEN IN ANYTHING BELOW -8? I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE UP THERE WHERE FUNCTIONING LIKE EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL.

My painting 'Kelowna North' hangs in the Pediatric Wing of Kelowna General Hospital.

I love hiking, exploring and just being outside.

I really love swimming and go in the lake every day from early June – end of September

I mostly paint commissions now and besides the Okanagan, I get a lot of requests for Sproat Lake on Vancouver Island and the Mars Bombers. I've done 8 paintings of Sproat Lake.

My art now lives on every continent except Africa.                So if you know anyone there....
