One of my favourite drives in BC is so close to home. As you leave Vernon on Highway 97 and head south towards Kelowna you drive through Lake Country. Kalamalka Lake is one of the prettiest lakes in BC (in my opinion) and with the Oyama isthmus, Wood Lake behind and the Okanagan Mountains (including the almost always snow covered Little White). This is what inspired this painting and our warm spring days.

This original is created on 1.5” thick canvas with the edges painted giving it a clean, finished look when hanging on the wall. Framing is optional as this painting is wire mounted and ready to hang.
