You’ve spent the day up the mountain, maybe you were skiing or snowboarding, maybe you were snowshoeing, or maybe you were just hanging out. Either way, it’s almost 4 oclock, the sun is going down and it’s time to come inside for a coffee/hot chocolate/beer/wine and snacks with friends. After being outside all day, this is my second favourite part of the day and this is what I wanted to capture in this painting. Snow covered trees, the mountain peaks and the sun setting behind them all, time to come in for Apres Ski.

This original is 30” x 48” acrylic on canvas on 1.5” thick canvas with the edges painted, giving it a clean, finished look when hung on the wall. Framing is optional as this painting is wire mounted and ready to hang.
