This one was a first for me. I’ve never painted a 12” x 48” canvas before and to be honest, I was a little nervous about it but I’m thrilled with how it turned out! The mountains can be so dramatic and that’s what I wanted to create with the peaks, trees and lake, a fun contrasting sky and the rain coming down. Nothing like being out for a hike and seeing that rain storm coming in the distance!

This original is 12” x 48” acrylic on canvas on 1.5” thick canvas with the edges painted, giving it a clean, finished look when hung on the wall. Framing is optional as this painting is wire mounted and ready to hang.
