Growing up in North Vancouver I spent a lot of time in the mountains and on the coast hiking and exploring and I always loved (still do) finding those little viewpoints of the coast islands. Whether it’s the larger ones from the Gulf Islands to the smaller ones I’ve always had a curiosity about the idea of living on an island. This original almost glows in the afternoon sunlight with its warm yellows and oranges in the sunset.

This original is 12” x 16” acrylic on canvas on 1.5” thick canvas with the edges painted, giving it a clean, finished look when hung on the wall. Framing is optional as this painting is wire mounted and ready to hang.
